Board games
We are creating board games to spread the bioeconomy message. The board game Resource Don’t Go! was developed by international students as part of a summer school on the topic “How is bioeconomy going to shape our world?” at the University of Hohenheim in order to give interested parties playful insights into the possibilities and challenges of a sustainable and circular bioeconomy. BioBeo Festival
Our flagship event was the BioBeo Festival, held in Brussels. The festival aim was to bring bioeconomy closer to education and was created with the support of the European Commission. As a satellite event of the EU Bioeconomy Changemakers Festival, it was a vibrant day full of fascinating workshops, interesting lectures, live music, comedy, comics, VR/AR and animation. Podcast
BioBeo is pleased to support the Bioeconomy Matters podcast, created by host Hailey Ciantar and podcast editor and producer Rita Escórcio. Through a series of interviews, including some with the BioBeo team, you will learn about bioeconomy’s presence in various sectors. The podcast creators are among the EU bioeconomy youth ambassadors, a group of 15 outstanding young minds chosen by the European Commission. Find the podcast here!
The BioBeo Education Programme integrates bioeconomy concepts with pedagogical strategies, VR/AR tools, and aligns with Global Citizenship and Sustainable Development Goals and will be available shorty.
