Many young people say that environmental activism is an important aspect of their lives. Because they have been growing up in times of major crises (economic, political, environmental, health), surrounded by institutional inefficiency, they are disappointed with traditional politics. There are many ways in which people can stimulate activist initiatives. Their actions can take place at schools, in the local community, at summits, during protests or marches. Having agency and action capacity in the bioeconomy domain helps young people follow their values and act for the benefit of society.
