BioBeo promoted in the Engineers Ireland Podcast for the National Ploughing Championships

BioBeo was highlighted in the Engineers Ireland Podcast episode for the National Ploughing Championships which were held in Ratheniska, Co. Laois, Ireland from September 19th to 21st, 2023.

The National Ploughing Championships 2023, one of Europe’s largest outdoor events, attracted an attendance of about 200,000 over three days. In order to mark the occasion of Engineers Ireland having an exhibition stand at the event for the first time, a special episode of the Amplify podcast ‘Ploughing Forward: The Engineering Behind Agriculture’ was released.

Tom Curran, the coordinator of the BioBeo Horizon Europe project, was one of the interviewees on the podcast where he highlighted the key points of the BioBeo programme in relation to bioeconomy education in primary and secondary schools. Tom also attended at the Engineers Ireland exhibition stand during the event.
